As the successor to the highly regarded ID ISC.PRH200, which has been a staple in the market since 2014, the PRH200-BW is equipped with state-of-the-art enhancements to meet evolving industry needs.
Enhanced Connectivity and Seamless Integration
The PRH200-BW introduces an upgraded Wi-Fi module (2.4 GHz and the latest 5 GHz), a new Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) V5.0 interface, and a highly secure WPA Enterprise encryption system. These advancements allow for seamless, simultaneous communication between a tablet or mobile phone and a host system or database. While the reader’s design, housing, battery, and RFID interface remain consistent with its predecessor, the addition of BLE technology ensures swift connectivity with Windows, Android, and iOS applications.
Optimized for Contactless Data Exchange
Designed primarily for use with ISO 15693 transponders, the PRH200-BW is an ideal solution for libraries, supporting applications such as inventory management, media searches, and automatic checking or rewriting of AFI bytes. Additionally, it is compatible with ISO 18000-3M3 transponders, making it a powerful tool in logistics, laundry management, document handling, and asset tracking.
Performance and User-Friendly Design
With adjustable output power levels, the PRH200-BW offers both Standard Mode (1.5 W) and Boost Mode (4 W), allowing users to optimize performance based on media type and reading distance. It is powered by a lithium-ion rechargeable battery, providing up to 16 hours of continuous operation. Five multi-colored LED indicators and an integrated sounder enhance user experience by clearly displaying device status on both sides of the reader.
The Wi-Fi interface, supporting common encryption protocols, ensures secure communication with databases and computer systems, enhancing reliability and efficiency across various industries.
