Nuvotronics to Present Breakthrough RF Microfabrication Solutions at IMS 2025

Nuvotronics, a leader in RF passive components and microelectronics, is set to participate in the  IMS 2025 (IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium), taking place from June 15–20, where it will offer live demonstrations of its breakthrough innovations at Booth #1165. Leveraging its proprietary PolyStrata® microfabrication technology, Nuvotronics delivers a robust portfolio of compact, high-performance RF solutions tailored for Space Defense, Electronic Warfare (EW), Test & Measurement, Satellite Communications, and Terrestrial Communications Infrastructure. Nuvotronics will showcase its high-volume, surface-mount RF components spanning a frequency range of 1 to 110 GHz, all engineered for reliability, high performance, and size, weight, and power (SWaP) efficiency. Designed for the most demanding environments, these components offer exceptional electrical characteristics while being easy to integrate into modern RF systems.

One of the highlights at the Nuvotronics booth will be live demonstrations of its µMUX technology—a revolutionary multiplexer that is four times smaller than conventional designs, yet delivers outstanding dynamic range, lower insertion loss, and superior adjacent channel rejection. This technology enhances the ability to detect low-level radio signals even in the presence of heavy interference—an increasingly critical need for wide-band receiver systems.

Visitors can experience these demos at the following times:

  • Tuesday & Wednesday: 9:40–10:10 AM and 3:10–3:40 PM
  • Thursday: 9:40–10:10 AM

Another key innovation on display will be Nuvotronics' new “Cross-over” interconnect bridges. Available in dual and single path variants, these structures span DC–50 GHz and provide a high-isolation, low-loss alternative to multi-layer PCBs. By minimizing the number of required PCB layers and enabling interconnect optimization, these bridges reduce assembly complexity, save board space, and lower costs—a win for engineers facing design density constraints.

Nuvotronics is also showcasing a new LO/Image Reject Filter family, developed to suppress LO leakage and image frequencies without relying on bulky waveguide filters. Utilizing the PolyStrata® platform, these surface mount filters offer flat passbands, high-Q, and strong out-of-band rejection—all within a compact footprint that simplifies mechanical design and supports seamless integration into RF front ends.

From compact multiplexers to advanced filtering and interconnect technologies, Nuvotronics is pushing the boundaries in RF component design with a clear focus on miniaturization, performance, and integration. Attendees to the IMS 2025 are encouraged to visit Booth #1165 to discover Nuvotronics' advanced solutions.
