Skyworks Reports $1.035 Billion in Q1 FY2026 Revenue, Expects Seasonal Dip in Mobile Next Quarter

Skyworks Solutions has reported its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 (ending January 2, 2026). The company generated $1.035 billion in revenue during the quarter. After accounting for all expenses, Skyworks reported earnings of $0.53 per share under standard accounting rules (GAAP). When excluding certain one-time or special items (non-GAAP), earnings were $1.54 per share.

CEO Phil Brace said the company performed better than expected for the fourth quarter in a row. Growth was driven mainly by its mobile business, supported by strong product demand and solid execution. The company’s Broad Markets segment - which includes products for Wi-Fi 7, data centers, and cloud infrastructure - also continued to grow.

First fiscal quarter business highlights included:

  1.  Advanced Wi-Fi 7 design wins supporting enterprise access points, networking, and home connectivity platforms with customers including Comcast, Verizon, TP-Link, and others.
  2. Expanded automotive connectivity programs, broadening in-vehicle infotainment and 5G module deployments with Volkswagen, BYD, and other OEMs.
  3.  5G deployments in premium Android smartphones, including Samsung’s Galaxy S26 and others.
  4. Introduction of integrated Wi-SUN/LoRaWAN RF front-end modules (FEM) for smart home and smart city applications.
  5. Introduction of isolation solutions for high-voltage AI server power supplies and EV architectures.

Looking ahead to the next quarter (ending March 2026), Skyworks expects revenue between $875 million and $925 million, with projected non-GAAP earnings of about $1.04 per share at the midpoint.

The company expects its Mobile business to decline by around 20% compared to the previous quarter, which management says is normal seasonal behavior. The Broad Markets segment is expected to remain steady, making up about 44% of total sales, and is projected to grow by high single digits compared to the same period last year.

Skyworks also announced a cash dividend of $0.71 per share, which will be paid on March 17, 2026, to shareholders recorded as of February 24, 2026.
