At Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, Pegatron 5G is showcasing its portfolio of AI-integrated 5G solutions, edge computing platforms, and networking infrastructure under the theme “The IQ Era.” As enterprises move from digital transformation toward intelligent autonomy, Pegatron 5G is positioning its infrastructure to support localized data processing, real-time response, and scalable industrial operations.
5G Infrastructure and Open RAN Portfolio
Pegatron 5G is expanding from private 5G deployments into public 5G infrastructure with a full-spectrum Open RAN radio portfolio. The lineup includes the PR2850, an 8T8R 40W 5G NR macro radio designed for wide-area coverage, capacity, and energy efficiency. Additional configurations include 4T4R and Massive MIMO (32TRx/64TRx) platforms, supporting indoor pico, outdoor micro, and macro radio deployments for Open RAN networks.

The company also introduced the PS2400, a portable “network-in-a-box” solution integrating the 5G radio, Distributed Unit (DU), Centralized Unit (CU), and Core Network into a single system. The platform is intended for emergency services and rapid deployments in remote or temporary locations.
Pegatron 5G is also showcasing its AI-RAN approach, embedding intelligence directly into O-RAN architecture. Combined with proprietary interference mitigation technology, the platform is designed to maintain stable, low-latency communication in congested industrial and medical environments.
"The IQ Era represents a fundamental shift where connectivity is no longer the end goal, but the foundation for pervasive intelligence," said CY Feng, General Manager of the Pegatron Communication Products Business Group. "At Pegatron, we are uniquely positioned to harmonize 5G infrastructure with Edge AI. Our goal is to empower our customers to not only capture data but also to understand and act upon it instantly. Through our modular platforms and deep ecosystem collaborations, we are making the vision of an autonomous, intelligent industrial future a reality today."
Pegatron 5G’s showcase is supported by collaboration with ecosystem partners including Amarisoft, Ataya, Chunghwa Telecom, Intel, Keysight Technologies, MaxLinear, Metanoia Communications, Nokia, Radisys, and the Telecom Infra Project to support interoperability and performance across 5G and AI-enabled network deployments.
