indie Semiconductor has developed the iND89101, a low-noise amplifier operating from 23.5 to 30.5 GHz, targeting 5G millimeter-wave applications as well as legacy 24 GHz ISM systems. It builds on the company’s established LNA_024_005, widely used by industrial and consumer radar sensor OEMs worldwide, extending its performance into higher-frequency applications.
Key Features of the iND89101
- Ultra-low power consumption of 18.5 mW
- Compact size: 1 mm x 1 mm for space-saving designs
- Adjustable gain for a wide range of system integration
- Low noise & high linearity for enhanced signal clarity
Unlike traditional wire-bond packaging, iND89101 leverages flip-chip packaging technology, offering:
- Smaller device footprint
- Lower profile
- Improved noise control
- Efficient thermal management
The device is designed for use in receiver front-end modules, active antenna arrays, and MIMO systems in base stations, as well as Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) customer premises equipment (CPE).
