The PE44820 from Peregrine is an 8-bit digital phase shifter based on Peregrine's UltraCMOS process (SOI). It supports a frequency range from 1.7 GHz to 2.2 GHz and is ideal for optimizing the transmission phase angle in the wireless infrastructure and radar markets. This phase shifter is easy to design-in, requires little PCB space and has flexible programming. It provides reliable and repeatable RF performance to applications such as antenna beamforming, distributed antenna systems (DAS) and phased-array antennas. The DPS covers a phase range of 358.6 degrees in 1.4 degree steps and has high linearity (IIP3) of 60 dBm. It is available in a 32-lead QFN package that measures 5 x 5 x 0.85 mm and has an option of external negative supply for a faster switching frequency.
