The CMD241 from Custom MMIC is a GaAs distributed low noise amplifier that operates from 2 to 22 GHz. This amplifier delivers a gain of greater than 13 dB with a noise figure of 2.3 dB and P1dB of 21 dBm. It requires a 5 V power supply and draws 74 mA of current. This amplifier is matched to 50 ohm eliminating the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching. It has excellent return losses and is available as a die with full passivation for increased reliability and moisture protection.
