The SKY85405 from Skyworks is a MMIC Power amplifier that operates in the 5 GHz 802.11 ac band. It provides high linear output power for IEEE 802.1, MCS9 and has a high transmit gain with superior efficiency. The device consists of an internal band-gap regulator that eliminates the need for an external reference supply. It is available in a 20-pin, QFN package that measures 4 x 4 mm. It has been developed for IEEE 802.11ac applications.
