The PE613010 from pSemi is an SPST Tuning Control Switch that operates from 100 to 3000 MHz. The switch can handle an input power of up to 38 dBm and has an insertion loss of less than 0.95 dB. It has a switching time of 7 μs and provides up to 11 dB of isolation. It is based on Peregrine’s UltraCMOS technology with an open reflective architecture and can be used for a wide variety of tuning circuit topologies with an emphasis on impedance matching and aperture tuning applications. This switch uses Peregrine’s HaRP technology to provide high RF power handling and ruggedness while meeting challenging harmonic and linearity requirements. It requires a DC supply of 2.75 V and consumes less than 200 μA of current.
The PE613010 supports single-pin low-voltage CMOS control for on-chip decoding and biasing. With built-in bias voltage generation and ESD protection, this tuning control switch provides a monolithically integrated tuning solution for demanding RF applications. It is available in a 10-lead QFN package that measures 2.00 x 2.00 x 0.55 mm and is ideal for open and closed-loop tunable antennas for 2G/3G/4G, tunable matching networks, tunable filter networks, RFID readers and bypassing applications.
