What are Frequency Doublers?
Frequency Doublers are devices that double the frequency of the input signal. They are non-liner circuits that distort the input signal to generate harmonics of the signal. A band pass filter is then used to select the frequency which is two times that of the input signal. It can be thought of as a frequency multiplier with a 2x multiplication factor. It can also be seen as an upconverting mixer with an LO frequency that doubles the input frequency.

Input Frequency: This is the input frequency that needs to be doubled. This is usually a range.
Output Frequency: This is the output frequency of the frequency doubler.
Conversion Loss (dB): This is the total loss in the signal amplitude of the output signal with double the frequency.
Output Power (dBm): This is the power of the signal whose frequency is double of the input signal. Some frequency doublers can amplify the input signal along with doubling it.
