Steliau Technology becomes a pan-European distributor of electronic solutions with added value by acquiring the Italian company Special-Ind. This operation is part of the Group's strategic plan to strengthen its activities in Europe. By doubling the size of its workforce, the entire Group is expected to achieve an annual turnover of 85 million euros in the current financial year.
Special-Ind, with approximately 60 employees, is located in Milan and also has subsidiaries in Spain, Germany and France. Special-Ind's solutions cover the fields of connectors, including automotive harnesses, HEV and EV, electromechanics, embedded systems and energy conversion. The company can also provide customized products in the RF and microwave fields. The main sectors of activity are automotive, industrial, transportation, aeronautic and consumer goods.
Synergies of product ranges will enable Steliau Technology and Special-Ind to extend and complete their offers and expertise in different business units both for the French and Italian organizations. Business units that will benefit with this move include:

- Energy and power conversion
- Connectors and cables, including automotive harnesses, HEV and EV

Stephane Jouannaud, CEO of Steliau Technology said that Steliau Technology's expertise is based on the quality of its services and solutions and those of its partners. The acquisition of Special-Ind. gives them access to new vertical and international markets, where the growth is currently strong. With complementary products and customers portfolio, they will be able to implement a lot of synergies.
