The R&S®HE400BC from Rohde & Schwarz is a Handheld Directional Antenna that operates from 8 kHz to 20 GHz. This antenna can be used for locating transmitters and interferes. It consists of an antenna handle, a cable set, and five different antenna modules available which allow the reception of vertically or horizontally polarized signals. This antenna is fully passive and has low insertion loss with a VSWR of less than 2:1. It uses a manual compass, and the antenna handle has no LNA which eliminates the requirement for a power supply. The antenna measures 600 x 285 x 60 mm and is ideal for locating transmitters and interference sources.
The R&S®HE400BC is optimized to be used with the R&S PR200 portable monitoring receiver, the R&S PR100 portable receiver or the R&S FSH, and the R&S Spectrum Rider FPH handheld spectrum analyzers as well as R&S Cable Rider ZPH cable and antenna analyzer.
