The EWDM-6G18G-65-70MV from Planar Monolithics is a Detector Logarithmic Video Amplifier Module that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. This CW module features an internal switch used to switch between the "Bit In" and RF In" with input blanking on both ports. This EW DLVA detector has a dynamic range from  -65 to 0 dBm, a tangential signal sensitivity (TSS) of up to -71 dBm, and a log slope of 70 mV/dB. It has a rise time of 25 ns and a fall time of 300 ns with a recovery time of up to 1 µs. The detector requires a DC supply of +15/-15 V and draws up to 1 A of current. This module is available in a compact unit with SMA female connectors and measures 4.2 x 2.9 x 0.8 inches.

This DLVA module also has two amplified RF outputs with a 7 dB gain channel and a 33 dB gain channel. The video output is designed to drive a 150 ft. cable, while maintaining high speed, and excellent accuracy.
