The SMART7 from NovAtel is a Multifrequency GNSS and L-band Antenna/Receiver that is based on an OEM7 receiver and VEXXIS antenna to receive GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo & QZSS signals. It also receives L-band signals providing easy access to the worldwide correction signals provided by TerraStar. The antenna can track up to three TerraStar Correction Service satellites, at a time, to provide decimeter or centimeter-level accuracy.
The SMART7 features an optional integrated terrain compensation solution that corrects vehicle roll and pitch to improve performance on uneven terrains. Using the optional Hexagon ALIGN technology can provide relative heading and position that can be used to guide accessory vehicles. This antenna is available in a waterproof magnetic/screw-mountable enclosure that measures 220 x 192 x 66 mm with RS232 and ISOBUS-compatible CAN bus interfaces. It requires a DC voltage of 7-30 V and consumes 4 W of power. The GNSS Antenna/Receiver meets the MIL-STD-810G environmental standards and is ideal for high-quality measurements & reliable precision applications.
