The B24 from MIMOSA is a Gigabit-speed Wireless Backhaul Radio operating in the unlicensed 24 GHz band. It delivers speeds of up to 1.5 Gbps up to distances of 3 km (2 mi) and has GPS synchronization that allows up to eight collocated B24 radios to share the same channel, on the same tower or rooftop, each running at 1.5 Gbps. It consumes under 19.5 W of power making it ideal for battery operated applications. This microwave backhaul radio is ideal for Fixed wireless broadband backhaul, Campus building connections, Video surveillance and Wi-Fi hotspot distribution and Smart City connectivity. Its Low-latency Gigabit throughput can be directed either upstream or downstream as needed to maximize spectrum utilization throughout the day. Legacy FDD radios are limited to symmetric traffic usage, leaving vast amounts of spectrum constantly underutilized.
