The FBA 32L6/U6 from Filtronic is a GaN Amplifier that operates in the full L6 band from 5.725 to 6.450 GHz and U6 band from 6.40 to 7.125 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 32 W with a gain of 10.5 dB and has a PAE of 25% (without envelope tracking). The amplifier uses proprietary GaN FETs and advanced machining which delivers excellent efficiency. It has an RF feedback port for pre-distortion to improve linearity and direct gate and drain control for envelope tracking that can further improve efficiency.
The FBA 32L6/U6 is available in a module that measures 65 x 36 x 15 mm with SMA connectors and an integrated temperature sensor. It is ideal for point-to-point backhaul radio links operating in the L6/U6 bands to increase their range.
