The CGY2272UH from MACOM is a GaAs Low Noise Amplifier MMIC that operates from 44 to 69 GHz. This four-stage LNA provides 29 dB of gain with a noise figure of less than 1.7 dB and has a P1dB of 5 dBm. This V-Band amplifier is manufactured using MACOM's advanced 70 nm gate length high indium technology. It uses gold bonding pads with backside metallization and is fully protected with Silicon Nitride passivation to obtain the highest level of reliability. The LNA requires a single positive and negative supply voltage of 1.5 V and consumes less than 90 mA of current. It is available as a die that measures 2.35 x 1.20 mm and is ideal for radar, telecommunication, instrumentation, and space applications.
