The ADRF5700 from Analog Devices is a 5-bit Silicon Digital Attenuator that operates from 100 MHz to 22 GHz. It provides up to 46 dB of attenuation in 2 dB steps with an accuracy of ±0.3 dB and has a rise/fall time of 10 ns. This attenuator can handle an input power of up to 24 dBm and has an insertion loss of less than 2 dB. It requires a dual DC supply of +3.3 and -3.3 V and has parallel mode control with CMOS/LVTTL compatible controls. This attenuator is available in a 20-lead LGA package that measures 3 x 3 mm. It is ideal for use in industrial scanners, test and instrumentation, cellular infrastructure (5G millimeter-wave), military radios, radars, electronic countermeasures (ECMs), microwave radios, and very small aperture terminals (VSATs) applications.
