The PSR-78-9537-U from ADRF is a Channelized Digital Repeater that operates from 758 to 861 MHz covering 700/800 MHz public safety bands including FirstNet. It uses digital signal processing (DSP) filtering technology to eliminate adjacent channel interference. This repeater has up to two non-contiguous wideband and thirty-two non-contiguous narrowband filters that can be supported in the 700 MHz and 800 MHz public safety frequencies. It is NFPA 72-2013, NFPA 1221-2016/2019, NFPA 1225, IFC 2015/2018/2021 code compliant and FirstNet compliant. This digital repeater is certified through Underwriters Laboratories and is UL 2524 Listed for in-building 2-way Emergency Radio Communication Enhancement Systems (ERCES).
The PSR-78-9537-U has an alarm for loss of normal AC power, battery charger failure, low battery capacity, donor antenna malfunction, active RF emitting device malfunction, and system component malfunction. It also includes an oscillation detection feature with an automatic amplifier shutdown routine. This repeater can simultaneously support FCC Part 90 Class A narrowband and Class B wideband repeater designations. It delivers a composite output power of up to 37 dBm with a system gain of 95 dB and has a noise figure of less than 5 dB. This digital repeater has a filter bandwidth of 3, 5, 6 & 10 MHz in wideband and 12.5, 25, 75, 75 (LD), 100, 150 & 200 KHz in narrowband. It has an ALC dynamic range of more than 60 dB and a gain dynamic range of 45 dB. The repeater has a system group delay of less than 46 μs and has a VSWR of less than 1.5:1.
The PSR-78-9537-U uses ADRF’s web-based GUI which provides versatility and total control. It requires an AC supply (with battery backup function) and consumes less than 263 W of power. This repeater is available in a NEMA 4 weather-resistant enclosure that measures 12.0 x 11.9 x 28.0 inches (with bracket) with 4.3-10 (female) RF connectors.
