The ADRF5048 from Analog Devices is a Non-reflective SP4T SOI Switch that operates from 100 MHz to 45 GHz. It provides an isolation of up to 41 dB, has a switching time of 20 ns and a rise/fall time of 4 ns. This switch can handle an RF input power of 30 dBm and has an insertion loss of less than 4 dB. It is manufactured using a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) process and has CMOS/low-voltage transistor-to-transistor logic (LVTTL) compatible controls and enable & logic select controls. This switch requires a dual DC supply of +3.3 V and -3.3 V and consumes less than 520 μA of current. It is available in a 24-terminal LGA package that measures 3 x 3 mm and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The switch is ideal for industrial scanners, test instrumentation, cellular infrastructure mmWave 5G, military radios, radars, electronic countermeasures (ECMs), microwave radios and very small aperture terminals (VSATs) applications.
