The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center has now cancelled all mass gathering events, up to September 2020, resulting in the postponement of Space Tech Expo USA 2020 (scheduled to take place from 10-12 August, at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center).
In order to maintain their commitment to North America’s aerospace sector, and the civil, commercial and military aerospace supply chains, Space Tech Expo announced that that they will launch Space Tech Expo Connect, a brand-new digital event that will take place in August 2020.
Space Tech Expo’s digital event experiences will deliver the same benefits as their traditional face-to-face formats: informing and educating, facilitating business connections and fostering relationships, enabling peer-to-peer conversations and networking, and the opportunity for aerospace professionals to come together, and collectively identify the latest ideas, technologies, and supply chain opportunities.
Participants in the digital event will include senior representatives from Airbus, Ball Aerospace, Boeing, CGI, ESA, Honeywell Aerospace, Kyocera International, Inc., Lockheed Martin, Mitsubishi Electric US Inc., NASA, Northrop Grumman, Panasonic Avionics Corporation, Raytheon, Siemens, SpaceX and Virgin Orbit.
More details, including a full program of digital events running August 2020, and the participating organisations, will be released in due course.
They also announced the dates for the Space Tech Expo USA 2021 event which will be held from 10-12 May, 2021, at the Long Beach Convention Center, California. This will be the next live (face-to-face), edition of Space Tech Expo USA. The Space Tech Expo USA is America’s meeting place for space technology, connecting the commercial, civil and military space industries, attracting more than 3,500 professionals, and more than 300 exhibitors.
NOTE: Plans for the European edition of Space Tech Expo (Space Tech Expo Europe 2020) remain unchanged. This face-to-face expo event will take place from 17-19 November in Bremen, Germany.
