Rohde & Schwarz has won a contract from the Polish Armaments Agency for the delivery of multiple VHF/UHF R&S M3SR Series4400 software defined radio stations of the SOVERON family for air traffic control (ATC). The contract includes the modernization of existing infrastructure, in accordance with the strict conditions set out in the Directive. The VHF/UHF radio stations will undergo software updates to incorporate the secure communication HAVE QUICK II and SATURN functionalities.
This system offers a frequency range of 100 MHz to 512 MHz, catering to a variety of applications. It boasts interfaces for external cipher units and modems, along with integrated SATURN EPM waveform and LINK 22 support. With embedded secure voice and data capabilities, as well as SNMP monitoring and remote control, it ensures both efficiency and security in military communications.
