The 9th Annual Startup Space competition will take place on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the SATELLITE Unveiled Theater, located on the Exhibit Hall floor of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Sponsored by Jack Industries, the event is part of the SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition and provides a platform for startups to present satellite technology innovations to industry investors.
Participants will deliver five-minute presentations followed by five minutes of Q&A with judges. Presentations are scored based on a standardized evaluation system. The winner will receive private pitch meetings with leading space investors.
Confirmed competitors include Lee Rosen (ThinkOrbital), Sho Nakanose (GITAI), Cindy Chin (Planetary Systems AI), and Femi Ishola (Phemotron), among others. The competition is known for fostering industry growth, with past winners like TrustPoint (2024) and LeoLabs (2018) achieving significant milestones in aerospace.
The SATELLITE Conference runs from March 10-13, 2025, with the exhibition from March 11-13.
