Intelliconnect has announced its participation for the upcoming Electronica 2018 event in Messe Munchen, Germany. Electronica is the world’s leading trade fair and conference for electronics covering the entire gamut from sensor technology to automotive and beyond. The show attracts 3,000+ exhibitors from 50 countries and 70,000+ visitors from 84 countries. Intelliconnect (Europe) will also be sharing the booth with their newly signed distributor for Germany Nucletron Technologies at the event. Nucletron is a manufacturer and distributor of electronic components and systems for the RF, microwave, EMC and electromechanical markets.
At the event, Intelliconnect will be exhibiting their extensive range of microwave and RF components and cable assemblies including the Pisces waterproof range, the triaxial range and the award-winning innovative 2.9mm solder-less RF connector. The company will be exhibiting their award winning 2.9mm solderless RF connectors which are an integral part of their growing cryogenic cable assembly business CryoCoax in addition to their market-leading UK designed and manufactured range of RF and microwave and waterproof connectors and cable assemblies.

Intelliconnect’s cable division are specialist manufacturers of affordable, high quality, high frequency microwave cables including triaxial assemblies, semi-rigid, semi-flexible and cryogenic cables as well as standard RG/LMR type products. Cables can be waterproofed to IP68 and include special features including phase matching and ruggedised assemblies for use in harsh environments.
According to Roy Phillips, Managing Director of Intelliconnect, the company’s presence at Electronica comes at the end of a year in which UK sales have doubled to over £3M as well as achieving more than ten percent growth in the USA. Intelliconnect has also invested in new product development and test equipment and the launch of the cryogenic cable assembly range has been very successful. The continuing sales growth has meant that Intelliconnect is relocating its sales, engineering and production facilities to larger premises. Increased customer support will be available from its larger design and sales office in Chelmsford and the Corby based manufacturing facility is relocating to the Corby Innovation Hub providing 50% more manufacturing space.
