Laird Connectivity has announced a flexible PCB antenna with a broad frequency range for LTE CAT M1 and NB-IoT devices. The new Revie Flex, which is being showcased at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, is designed for quick and easy mounting to a plastic housing.
The highly efficient (>51%) PCB antenna features an omni-directional antenna pattern optimized for LTE CAT M1 and NB-IoT devices from 698-875 MHz and 1710-2500 MHz frequency bands. The combination of flexibility, multiple frequency bands, and an omnidirectional antenna pattern enables the Revie Flex to deliver higher performance in a variety of integration environments.
With the ever-growing demand on carrier networks to support massive quantities of IoT devices in an almost unlimited amount of application scenarios, Laird has developed the Revie Flex to support both NB-IoT and LTE CAT M1 applications.
