One of the most common tasks required of an RF engineer is basic impedance matching. AWR’s Microwave Office® software has included this ability for a long time now via a manual ‘step through’ matching process, however, the latest release of AWR’s Microwave Office now supports the addition of an automated impedance matching wizard, coined iMatch, that allows the user to quickly compare different matching topologies and choose the best solution based upon requirements.
