Vaunix, a leading provider of portable and programmable RF/microwave test devices, has announced the release of the first two in a series of Ethernet controlled Lab Bricks. The two new multiport Lab Brick Digital Attenuators are the 4-port LDA-802Q, and the 8-port LDA 802-8, each operating from 200 MHz to 8 GHz for a variety of L-band, S-band, and C-band applications that require the need for single-shot or repeating attenuation ramps.
These solid-state, rugged, yet low-cost 50-ohm step attenuators are bi-directional and offer a high dynamic range of 120 dB. They also feature an impressive, ultra-fine step size of 0.1 dB for ultimate signal attenuation control.
These portable and programmable RF/microwave test devices have been designed to suit high-speed MIMO test platforms as they are easily programmed for fixed attenuation or swept attenuation ramps/fading profiles directly from the included Graphical User Interface (GUI). Additional testing applications include Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, 5G, LTE, and DVB systems, and microwave radio simulators.
Test technicians wishing to develop their interface, can utilize Vaunix’s included LabVIEW drivers, Windows API DLL files, Linux drivers, macOS SDK examples, and more.
The portable, hand-held lab brick units can also be packaged as a single rack unit for ATE stands.
