Skyworks has introduced a complete family of high-efficiency power amplifiers (PAs) designed for the stringent requirements of enterprise small cell radios. The SKY663xx-11 family of amplifiers are available in a compact 5 x 5 mm package and are ideal for high-density, small cell 4G LTE and 5G system applications operating from 2.3 to 5 GHz.
These amplifiers offer wide instantaneous bandwidth with high gain and are fully input/output matched. They provide an output power of up to +28 dBm with a PAE of up to 38%. Active biasing circuitry is integrated to compensate for PA performance over temperature, voltage, and process variations. The amplifiers have multi-carrier support and provides wider reach with lower power consumption.
