Crystek Corporation, a manufacturer and designer in the RF microwave and frequency control industry has introduced a 1620 MHz VCO. The CVCO55CCQ-1620-1620 VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) operates at 1620 MHz with a control voltage range of 1.0 V to 11 V. This VCO delivers an output power of 2 dBm. It has a typical phase noise of -125 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset and offers excellent linearity.
The VCO requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes up to 35 mA of current. The pulling and pushing are minimized to 0.5 MHz pk-pk and 0.3 MHz/V and has a harmonic suppression of -15 dBc. It is engineered and manufactured in the USA, and is available in the industry-standard 0.5 x 0.5 inch SMD package.
The CVCO55CCQ-1620-1620 is ideal for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, and base stations.
