Quantic Electronics, a leading electronics components company focused on defining and delivering the future of mission-critical electronics, has announced that Joe Svoboda has been appointed General Manager of its Wenzel Associates (“Wenzel”) business unit.

Prior to joining Wenzel, Joe held the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Criteria Labs, a Microelectronics Space, and Semiconductor Engineering Company. Previously in his career, Joe worked at National Instruments for 17 years in a variety of roles including engineering, applications engineering, and sales, and he led a team of Aerospace, Defense, and Semiconductor business development teams primarily focused on RF, Microwave, and Wireless Technology. Joe has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University with a Business Minor.
Wenzel designs and manufactures crystal oscillators, fixed-frequency systems, integrated microwave assemblies, and synthesizers to millimeter-wave. The company specializes in ultra-low phase noise crystal oscillators, and it is a global leader in the Aerospace & Defense, and Commercial markets. Wenzel was founded in 1978, and it is based in Austin, Texas.
Wenzel Associates was acquired by BIE Precision in 2019. BIE Precision was then acquired by Quantic in August 2021.
