JFW Introduces New Line of Commercial 8 GHz Solid-State RF Switches

JFW has added a new line of 50 Ohm solid-state RF switches that operate 20 MHz to 8 GHz. The 50S-2143 SMA (SPDT), 50S-2144 SMA (SP4T) and 50S-2145 SMA (SP8T) switches are controlled with TTL control lines and can hot switch up to +26 dBm with typical isolation of 55 dB at 8 GHz. These commercially rated models are ideal for constructing low-cost RF testbeds for automated testing.

Key Features:

  • 20-8000 MHz
  • 55 dB isolation typical at 8 GHz
  • +26 dBm average (hot switch)
  • TTL control lines
  • 5 microsecond typical switching time
  • SMA female

Ethernet-controlled switches can also be made available on prior ordering. If the testbed has multiple switches cabled together, the block diagram can be emailed to JFW Industries and they will develop an integrated solution.
