After finishing a complete network upgrade to the latest R&S ARGUS 6.1 spectrum monitoring software, the Bulgarian Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) has recently awarded Rohde & Schwarz a follow-up contract for R&S UMS300 compact monitoring and radiolocation systems.
CRC regulates communications in Bulgaria, monitors the radio frequency spectrum, and ensures interference-free reception of radiocommunications services. The regulator selected the R&S UMS compact monitoring and radiolocation systems with extraordinary system features. The compact systems are protected by weatherproof housings and are mounted directly on masts underneath the antenna sets. The new stations have the huge advantage of not requiring additional buildings or shelters.
“This new order confirms the long-standing CRC technology partnership with Rohde & Schwarz and we are very proud to see continued customer trust in our solutions,” says Anne Stephan, Vice President Critical Infrastructure at Rohde & Schwarz. “CRC is very serious about managing the radio frequency spectrum and preventing its misuse. Our solutions are operational, future-proven, and critical regulatory tools for efficient planning and utilization of the country’s frequency spectrum resources.”
Rohde & Schwarz has been a global spectrum monitoring success for decades with system solutions that meet all the applicable requirements and recommendations of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations specialized agency for information and communications technologies.
