Akoustis Technologies, Inc., an integrated device manufacturer (IDM) of patented bulk acoustic wave (BAW) high-band RF filters for mobile and other wireless applications, will be exhibiting at the IEEE MTT International Microwave Symposium 2022 (IMS) in Denver, Colorado, from 21-23 June, 2022. Dr. Rama Vetury, Principal Engineer, will be presenting a Technical Session - “Miniaturized Ultrawide Bandwidth Wi-Fi 6E Diplexer Implementation Using XBAW RF Filter Technology” on June 23rd at 10:30 AM MST.
Experts from Akoustis will be at their booth showcasing their RF BAW and RF SAW filters as well as their portfolio of crystal oscillator (XTAL) products. The showcase will highlight the following products:
June 21 - Pairing Up for the Industry’s Wi-Fi Needs by demonstrating the RF BAW filters A10155 and A10165. Also showcasing the RF SAW filter SF2686L.
June 22 - Diving into Wi-Fi 7 BAW Diplexer and Automotive GPS SAW Filter by demonstrating the SF2510LA
June 23 - Topping it off with Telecom and Automotive solutions featuring the 5G CBRS filter solution AKF-1336 and UHF SAW notch filter SF2472E
Akoustis is actively delivering volume production of its Wi-Fi 6 tandem filter solutions, shipping multiple 5G small cell XBAW filter solutions, delivering initial designs of its new 5G mobile filter solutions to multiple customers and has entered the market with its new Wi-Fi 6E coexistence XBAW filter solutions. To date, Akoustis has received more than 20 customer design wins for its patented XBAW filter solutions.
Given the rapidly growing sales funnel activity as well as ongoing interaction with customers regarding expected ramps in 5G mobile, Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E in calendar 2022, the Company is increasing the annual production capacity at its New York fab to approximately 500 million filters per year.
