BeRex, a company that designs, develops and supports innovative RF and microwave semiconductors in bare die and surface mount packages for current and next-generation wireless communication equipment has announced the availability of BSW6620 and BSW6622. These are high isolation, wide bandwidth, low insertion loss, 50-ohm SPDT (Single-Pole, Double Throw) absorptive RF switches that are specifically optimized for 5G/4G/3G infrastructure applications.
Using a single 2.7 V-5.5 V supply voltage, the BSW6620 and BSW6622 switches provide a wide 5 to 8000 MHz frequency range when used in 50-ohm systems. They utilize a patent-granted technology that provides the industry’s highest isolation (RFc to RFx) of 60 dB (BSW6620) and 58 dB (BSW6622), together with a low insertion loss of 0.70 dB (BSW6620) and 0.80 dB (BSW6622) and a high input IP3 of 68 dBm (BSW6620) and 64 dBm (BSW6622) at 3.5 GHz.
The BSW6620 and BSW6622 are available in a 16-lead, 4.0 mm x 4.0 mm QFN package, have an ESD HBM rating of Class 2 (BSW6620) and Class 1C (BSW6622) and require no external DC blocking capacitors if DC is not presented at the RF port.
