Devalirian Engineering, a multidisciplinary engineering company with extensive experience in electronic design, microprocessor programming, and enclosure design, is offering a GPS/4G module that obtains position within thirty seconds of a cold start. The combination of Ignion’s Virtual Antenna Technology and Nordic’s nRF9160 is surprisingly efficient and compact, as it dynamically handles LTE-M, NB-IoT (700–960 MHz and 1710–2200 MHz LTE), and GPS in a very small footprint. The deployment of more than 100 units out of a 600-series has been completed, and so far, the results are excellent.
Atex certification (Explosive Atmospheres) will be obtained, which was forbidden in our previous version of GPS/GPRS due to its higher power consumption.
