Mini-Circuits Introduces New GaAs pHEMT MMIC LNA for Defense, SATCOM and Test Instrumentation Applications

Mini-Circuits has introduced the new AVA-0233LN+, a GaAs pHEMT MMIC low noise amplifier with a wide operating frequency range from 2 to 30 GHz. This model achieves a typical noise figure of 2.4 dB with characteristic performance <2 dB up to 18 GHz. A unique Vc pin (-1.2 to +2.4 VDC) provides gain control from roughly +16 dB to -14 dB, facilitating compensation for performance variations due to temperature and other signal path conditions. It outperforms similar products on the market for a fraction of the price, making it an excellent candidate for applications from defense systems and Satcom to test instrumentation and more.

Key Features:

  • Ultra-wideband, 2 to 30 GHz
  • NF <2 dB up to 18 GHz
  • 16.3 dB gain with ±1.0 dB flatness (@Vc = 0V)
  • +25 dBm OIP3
  • 5 x 5 mm 32-lead QFN
  • Industry-leading performance for the price
