Wireless Telecom Group Highlights Specialized Test and Measurement Solutions at IMS 2023

The Wireless Telecom Group is highlighting its range of specialized test and measurement solutions from Boonton, Holzworth, and Noisecom at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2023 (Booth #1619). The booth serves as a platform to showcase the company's latest innovative products and interactive demonstrations, providing insights into amplifier linearity testing, fast-switching RF signal generation, phase noise analysis, and customizable additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) generation.

One of the key highlights they have planned is a technical session led by the company, focusing on power sensor technologies, critical RF and microwave power measurements, and the ideal power sensor capabilities for radar and communications systems.

The demonstrations at IMS 2023 emphasize several capabilities and solutions, including high-performance RF signal generation with lightning-fast frequency switching speed, industry-leading RF peak power sensors for amplifier characterization, broadband, low phase noise signal generation and real-time phase noise analysis. Custom noise generation solutions will also be showcased to replicate potential RF interference that a system may encounter once deployed.

Boonton Demonstrations

Boonton, a part of the Wireless Telecom Group, offers a range of products enabling RF signal generation, power measurement, and signal analysis for various applications. The Boonton SGX1000 RF Signal Generator, with ultra-low phase noise and rapid frequency switching speed, will be a key feature. Boonton's true average and peak power sensors, incorporating real-time power processing technology, provide fast, accurate, and reliable RF power measurements.

The RTP and CPS families of USB RF power sensors are compatible with the Boonton PMX40 RF Power Meter, which combines benchtop utility, touch screen simplicity, and USB sensor performance.
