SHF Communication Technologies AG, a manufacturer of components and measurement equipment for high-speed optical communication, has introduced new series of 67 & 110 GHz passive devices. This new series includes terminations (SHF TRM110 A) with exceptional return loss, resistive power dividers (SHF PDV110 A and SHF PDV67 A) with excellent amplitude and phase balance and fixed value attenuators (SHF ATT110 A and SHF ATT67 A) with flat frequency responses and smooth roll-off.
All parts share a similar design, chip process and production principles based on more than 30 years of experience with passive RF devices like SHF’s Bias-Tees. As a result, they offer extremely high bandwidths, good RF matching and a compact and lightweight design.
To avoid the unnecessary need for adapters the components can be tailored with all possible configurations of 1.0 mm and 1.85 mm (V) connectors. If required, SHF can even build mixed configurations.
