Richardson RFPD, an Arrow Electronics company, has announced the in-stock availability and full design support capabilities for a series of RF and microwave multilayer ceramic capacitors from KYOCERA AVX.
The 550-560 Series of ultra-broadband capacitors (UBCs) feature rugged ceramic construction to provide reliable and repeatable performance from 7 kHz through 110 GHz. The UBCs exhibit ultra-low insertion loss, flat frequency response and excellent return loss. They have a capacitance from 10 to 100 nF and a voltage rating of up to 25 V. These capacitors come in Tin or Tin/Gold finish.
They are ideal for DC blocking, coupling, bypassing and feedback applications requiring ultra-broadband performance, including:
- Optoelectronics / High-speed data
- Trans-impedance amplifiers
- Receive and transmit optical sub-assembly (ROSA/TOSA)
- Synchronous optical network (SONET)
- Broadband test equipment
