RFHIC Launches Versatile Line of High-Performance Hybrid GaN Amplifiers for Wireless Infrastructure Applications

RFHIC has introduced a versatile line of hybrid amplifiers tailored for diverse applications including 5G m-MIMO, TDD/FDD systems, mobile infrastructure, small cells, and low-power remote radio heads. Covering frequency ranges from 1805 to 4100 MHz, these fully integrated micro-strip GaN power amplifier modules offer exceptional performance. They are based on RFHIC’s innovative multi-layer PCB copper layer packaging that guarantees exceptional thermal stability and performance.

The amplifier modules are internally matched to 50 Ohms featuring a 2-stage design, which translates to enhanced convenience for end customers with no hassle for impedance matching. They deliver saturated power outputs of 40 W or 60 W and operate at a drain voltage of 48V. These amplifiers offer high output power within a small surface area. They can be used for a wide range of wireless communication applications including 4G LTE, 5G small cells, and massive mimo systems.

This series currently consists of 8 power amplifier modules with different frequency, gain and power configurations. Customized frequency solutions are available upon customer request.
