Pivotal Commware, a renowned worldwide provider of 5G mmWave infrastructure solutions for wireless edge applications, is set to exhibit its comprehensive Turnkey service and the accompanying Pivotal product lineup during the Mobile World Congress in Las Vegas at booth 732 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
With Pivotal Turnkey, network operators target buildings with prospective subscribers and the locations of their pre-existing network elements, if any, like gNBs. Pivotal Turnkey does the rest using:
Pivot 5G® network repeaters to navigate mmWave signals around obstacles. The second-generation Pivot 5G delivers four times the power of its predecessor for increased range and optical extension. Recent enhancements include strand mount ability and FCC certification for n257 (28 GHz) and soon, n260 (39 GHz).
WaveScape® economic and network modeling tool to optimize the placement of network elements for a given coverage objective. One of WaveScape’s newest modules is Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) Service Qualification for Single Family Units, i.e., homes. With 10cm data mapping resolution, operators can now confidently define FWA qualification thresholds based on line-of-sight clearance, minimum signal strength, and CPE deployment strategy.
Intelligent Beam Management System (IBMS) to manage and optimize the repeater network. Recent improvements to IBMS include Synthetic Alerts, which provides customized alert notifications so operators can respond to events before they impact service.
“Pivotal Turnkey delivers a powerful portfolio of products to help MNOs at lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) — 25% to 35% the cost of fiber — and quicker time-to-market,” according to the company’s new Vice President of Deployment Services, Christal Griffin.
“Christal brings a wealth of site development and regulatory experience from leading MNOs,” said Brian Deutsch, CEO of Pivotal Commware. “We are delighted to have an industry insider who understands what concerns and motivates the MNOs.”
