RWW 2024 & ARFTG Events to Take Place Jan 2024 in San Antonio, Texas

The 2024 IEEE Radio & Wireless Week (RWW 2024) is set to take place from 21-24January, 2024, in the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas, USA. RWW consists of five related conferences focusing on the intersection between wireless communication theory, systems, circuits, and device technologies. This creates a unique forum for engineers to discuss various technologies for state-of-the-art wireless systems and their end-use applications.

Authors are invited to submit papers for presentation at RWW2024. All papers accepted will be published in a digest and the conference proceedings will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® digital library. Authors of papers presented at RWW2024 are also invited to submit an expanded version to the T-MTT Mini-Special Issue. Papers can be submitted to the following conferences:

  • RWS: From RF/microwave physical layer, devices, algorithms, and implementation to applications
  • PAWR: Topics in RF/microwave power amplifiers
  • WiSNet: Topics in wireless sensors and sensor networks, RFID, localization, and Six-Port technology
  • SiRF: Topics in silicon technologies for microwave and millimeter-wave applications
  • SHaRC: Topics in RF equipment and technology for space- and suborbital systems

This year, RWW 2024 is co-located with the 102nd ARFTG Microwave Measurement Symposium. The Automatic Radio Frequency Techniques Group (ARFTG) is a technical organization interested in all aspects of RF and microwave test and measurement. ARFTG was created in 1972 to help end-users get the most from the latest generation of test and measurement equipment. This creates a unique forum for engineers to discuss various technologies for state-of-the-art wireless systems and their end-use applications.

Introducing the 2024 Plenary Speaker

As the excitement builds for the 2024 event, a Joint RWW & ARFTG Plenary Session scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2024, attendees can look forward to an enlightening experience with two distinguished experts at the forefront of their respective fields.

Madhavan Swaminathan from Pennsylvania State University will step into the spotlight to explore "The Future of Heterogeneous Integration for mmWave Systems: Challenges and Opportunities." This session promises to explore the pressing issues and exciting prospects in the world of mmWave systems.

Anouk Hubrechsen from ANTENNEX B.V. will share insights on "Redefining ICs Metrics for OTA Characterization," offering a novel perspective on the metrics used in the characterization of integrated circuits. These plenary sessions are poised to be thought-provoking and transformative, making them a must-attend event within the 2024 IEEE Radio & Wireless Week.
