ALifecom a leading provider of network emulation solutions, has announced a significant upgrade to its 5G Network Emulator Signaling Test System. The latest enhancement introduces mmWave (FR2) mode for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) network emulation, allowing user equipment manufacturers to push the boundaries of their next-generation products with mmWave capabilities up to 44 GHz.
mmWave Upgrade Overview
The upgrade package is available for new and existing SA systems (NE7500) and NSA systems (NE6000+NE7500). The upgrade package consists of:
For conducting a 5G test in the FR2 frequency band, the Network Emulator is connected to the mmWave transceiver and creates the connection to the UE via OTA testing. The user-friendly GUI allows easy verification and performance testing of the DUT.
ALifecom Network Emulators are compatible with a range of horn antennas and antenna arrays to allow the user to integrate with the antenna test chamber. ALifecom works with leading OTA test chamber manufacturers to provide a total test solution to our customers.
