SAF Tehnika has announced the launch of a new dual-core radio carrying up to 1.7 Gbps of AES-encrypted traffic, the Integra-X2. Building upon the success of the Integra-X series, the Integra-X2 is designed to meet the advanced security needs of government institutions, utilities, and public safety entities.
Reliability is paramount for government and public safety entities reliant on uninterrupted communication. The system's capacity can be dynamically managed, scaling up to 10+ Gbps with traffic aggregation through an external Ethernet switch, catering to the evolving needs of secure and critical communication networks.
The Integra-X2 series is a milestone in dual-transceiver radio technology. This series joins SAF’s Full-Outdoor Unit (FODU) lineup, boasting a formidable dual transceiver system capable of reaching 2+0 XPIC.
Designed for the most demanding environments, this dual-band solution maximizes capacity in favorable weather conditions and ensures reliability with a fallback microwave link during adverse weather. The advanced AES 256’s CFB encryption mode, significantly enhances data security. This development addresses the crucial need for secure communication channels, diminishing the risk of data corruption and theft.
With the launch of Integra-X2, SAF is addressing its customers' evolving security concerns in the ever-evolving dynamic environment.
The Integra-X2 includes significant safety features of the preceding Integra-X model, such as secure web access (HTTPS), secure monitoring via SNMP V3, and a Secure Command Line Interface by SSH. Additionally, the Integra-X2 offers multi-level user login access for enhanced security management. With the newly added layer of AES 256 Encryption, the Integra-X2 ensures an even greater level of protection against potential threats.
The SAF Integra-X2 is the latest addition to SAF’s secure microwave portfolio, which features NIST-certified FIPS-197 AES 256 Encryption Products such as the Integra G, Phoenix G2, and Phoenix G2+.
