Signal Microwave Introduces New Line of Nonmagnetic Connectors for Quantum Computing Applications

Signal Microwave has introduced a new product line of nonmagnetic connectors developed primarily for the quantum computing market.

This new line of field replaceable connectors has nonmagnetic components made of phosphor bronze and beryllium copper. The plating is gold only, no nickel, for nonmagnetic applications. These field replaceable connectors have a rear socket for 12 mil (0.012”, 0.3048 mm) pins. Potential applications are cryogenic environments, superconducting, low PIM, quantum computing, quantum sensing, MRI, and others.

Features of Signal Microwave's nonmagnetic connectors

  • SMA Interface
  • Standard 2 and 4 Hole Flange Sizes
  • Rear Socket for 12 mil (0.012”, 0.3048 mm) pins
  • Beryllium Copper (BeCu) center contact - gold plated only (no nickel)
