ETS-Lindgren, a pioneer in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Radio Frequency (RF) Testing Solutions, has announced its participation in the upcoming Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA) 2024 Regional Meeting, slated for Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio. Known for its expertise in antenna measurement and testing, ETS-Lindgren is poised to present an array of cutting-edge technologies and insights at this prestigious event.
A focal point of ETS-Lindgren’s involvement will be an invited presentation Tuesday afternoon delivered by Zhong Chen, Chief Engineer at ETS-Lindgren. Mr. Chen will present insights into “Mode Filtered Site VSWR for Above 18 GHz EMC Site Evaluation Using Compressed Sensing.” Mr. Chen has gained international acclaim for his expertise in this area with his paper “Application of Compressed Sensing to Antenna Far-Field Calibration in an Extrapolation Range,” co-authored with Yibo Wang, RF Engineer at ETS-Lindgren, having been nominated for the Best Measurement Paper Award at the recent European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP 2024). His paper “Novel Application of Compressed Sensing in Cylindrical Mode Filtering for Far-Field Antenna Measurements,” co-authored with Stuart Gregson, Director of Operations & Research at Next Phase Measurements/Professor at Queen Mary University of London, and Mr. Wang, earned first place in the AMTA 2023 Symposium Best Paper Awards. Mr. Chen was also recognized as an AMTA Edmond S. Gillespie Fellow in October 2023.
Complementing Mr. Chen’s presentation, ETS-Lindgren will host a dedicated booth featuring an extensive collection of technical literature. Among the materials will be the comprehensive Test and Measurement Full Line Brochure, offering detailed insights into the company's diverse portfolio of test solutions from automotive to wireless applications. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to delve into the complexities of wireless communication systems with the Wireless Solutions Brochure, explore the latest developments in RF and microwave technologies through the RF Microwave Product and Service Solutions Brochure, and gain insights into satellite testing methodologies with the Top 10 Considerations for Satellite Chamber Design and Testing Brochure.
"We are thrilled to participate in the AMTA 2024 Regional Meeting, where we will showcase our latest innovations and engage with fellow industry professionals," stated Janet O’Neil, Customer Relations Manager at ETS-Lindgren. "This event serves as an invaluable platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration; we are eager to demonstrate how our advanced Antenna Testing Solutions can address the evolving needs of the industry." As a long time AMTA member and organizer of the first AMTA Regional Meeting held in 2005, Ms. O’Neil serves as an advisor to the organizing committee for the AMTA 2024 Regional Meeting.
