RFOptic designs, develops and manufactures commercial off-the-shelf RF over Fiber (RFoF) products for civil 5G and defense applications. At IMS 2024 in Washington D.C from 18-20 June, they will be showcasing advanced RFoF & ODL solutions for Electronic Warfare & Radar, 5G testing & DAS applications, and RFoF for 5G applications.
Optical Delay Lines
Their High-Performance Low Frequency Optical Delay Line (ODL) solutions meet the growing demand for testing and calibrating radar systems and RF communication. They provide low and high frequency ODLs, depending on the needs of the customer. The low frequency ODLs include any type of fixed or progressive ODL that operate up to 6 GHz with direct modulation (L, S, & C bands) as well as RADAR Altimeter Test for the testing and calibration of radar altimeter systems.
The high frequency ODLs include fixed or progressive ODL covering from 1 GHz up to 12 GHz or 18 GHz with indirect modulation (L, S, C, X, & Ku bands), and fixed or progressive ODL covering from 1GHz up to 20GHz, up to 27GHz, and up to 40GHz upon request. (K and Ka bands).
Electronic Warfare & RADAR
RFOptic has a long track record of supplying governmental institutes and defense system integrators with advanced technologies for a wide variety of defense and homeland security applications. They provide ODL and Altimeters for radar systems where radar range calibration is required, broadband systems for Electronic Warfare (EW). They also provide mmWave SATCOM applications where our RFoF HSFDR links and subsystems above 40 GHz are required as well as phased matched system for electronic warfare applications.
