Junkosha, known for its advanced fluoropolymer technologies, has introduced the "Flat and High-Flex Cable Designer" at SEMICON West 2024. This product selection tool aims to simplify the process for engineers in the semiconductor manufacturing sector.
The Flat and High-Flex Cable Designer allows users to input specific conditions and requirements, facilitating the identification of suitable cable assemblies. By selecting the intended use, environment, necessary cores and tubes, and specific conditions such as cable length and end shapes, users can generate a list of products that meet their needs.
This tool offers a broad range of customization options, including small quantity orders, which supports the acceleration of the prototyping phase for engineers. Shinsuke Kitazawa, Product Manager at Junkosha, notes that the tool addresses the need for reducing the time and effort involved in product procurement for mechanical components.
Junkosha will also present its Super Low Outgassing (SLO) Cable at SEMICON West. This cable is designed for equipment with ultra-high vacuum chambers, features low levels of outgassing and particulation. These characteristics help maintain clean environments around semiconductor manufacturing systems, contributing to higher yields, reduced downtime, and improved overall productivity.
Kitazawa emphasizes Junkosha's commitment to quality through meticulous planning, design, manufacturing, packaging, and shipping processes. The careful selection of materials, including both conductor and resin components, underpins the reliability of Junkosha’s products.
Attendees of SEMICON West can visit Junkosha at Booth 6078 to learn more about the Flat and High-Flex Cable Designer and the Super Low Outgassing (SLO) Cable. SEMICON West, held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from July 9th to 11th, is a key event for the global electronics supply chain, featuring market intelligence, standards, sustainability, workforce development, and supply chain management.
