Mini-Circuits, a leader in RF and microwave components, has announced the expansion of its EQY-series GaAs MMIC gain equalizers with new models covering DC to 12 GHz. Housed in an ultra-compact 1.5 × 1.5 mm QFN-style package, these devices offer a wide range of linear positive slope options and exceptional return loss performance.
The new models range from EQY-1-123+ all the way to EQY-15-123+ and have slope values from 1 to 15 dB. These MMIC slope equalizers can handle an input power of up to 1 W (~30 dBm) and have a VSWR of less than 1.43:1.
Designed to compensate for negative gain roll-off in wideband systems, the new EQY models deliver a flat overall frequency response while minimizing board space, making them an ideal solution for applications such as test and measurement equipment, radar, and wireless communications. By combining high performance with a miniature footprint, Mini-Circuits continues to provide designers with flexible, space-saving solutions for modern RF system challenges.
