PCTEL has announced the launch of two VenU PIM160 antennas for outdoor DAS systems to complement their extensive line of 4G LTE DAS antennas. These indoor/outdoor antennas deliver superior Quality of Experience to sports fans, concertgoers, commuters, or anyone who uses cellular devices in a crowded venue.
The antennas provide excellent value while meeting or exceeding all carrier and radio manufacturer requirements. They provide superior multiband performance for 4G LTE MIMO networks. They also improve network capacity by reducing interference through PIM performance standard (-160 dBc) and rigorously tested propagation patterns. These antennas are available in both directional and omnidirectional models. Special brackets and carrier-preferred connector options are available for quick installation on solid ceiling surfaces, walls, or pipe structures. All outdoor-rated models feature sealed, ruggedized radomes to prevent water or dust ingress. They provide long lasting performance under severe environmental conditions.
PCTEL demonstrated these VenU antennas at DAS and Small Cells Congress in Las Vegas. They also formally launched their SeeHawk Engage network performance test tool product line and demonstrated their cloud-based SeeHawk Analytics system. Together with the IBflex scanning receiver, these tools form a complete, cloud-based solution for wireless network test, measurement, and analysis.
